Allenrolfia scrub near Camalú
Scrub landscapes can be hard to appreciate. Much of the year they can look lifeless and dry. This kind scrub occurs only in dry, salty areas like the ocean shore, and it is increasingly hard to find on the coast in both California and Baja California.
Here in Camalú, a beautiful remnant of this ecological community still can be found.
